Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Review
After a rollercoaster few years, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. James Gunn’s massive MCU smash has come to an end with the final installment. This movie is full of badass jokes and the crew from space, led by Adam Warlock, trying to get past their pasts.
The film is also its own without needless allusions to other films in the series.
Still reeling from the loss of Gamora
It’s time for the Guardians of the Galaxy to be the ones to face the challenges. They are led by an aging Peter Quill, now living in Knowhere and wishing for an alternative model of Gamora (Zoe Saldana) from another timeline. This team is comprised of the Raccoon Rocket as well as the man-tiger Drax and Drax, who’s an intelligent snark.
Gunn puts everything he adores about his beloved gang into the final episode of his franchise which all makes for a soaring and emotionally intense adventure. The film is an appropriate way to end Gunn’s characters as well as his filmmaking. Though it’s not quite at the same heights as its predecessor from 2014, the movie is nevertheless enjoyable. This is an enjoyable romp, with a great soundtrack, and it will please long-time fans.
Peter Quill gathers his team to defend the universe, and one is a member of the Guardians. If the task fails it may mean the end to the Guardians.
Though the film tends to be uninhibited romp across the MCU multiverse (it never lets a moment be a blur without clumps of flesh that glow in the dark, glowing eyes, or molten-faced alien creations), Gunn gives each characters their own unique storylines. Rocket Raccoon is the best instance, because it makes use of flashbacks in order to examine his motives, wants to be, his addictions, the traumas he has experienced and regrets.
His adventure is interrupted by the time he loses his music player during an escape plan and appears to have gone to space. However, the spaceman is saved by Adam Warlock. The reunion team will split: Quill comes back to Earth for a visit with his grandfather and Nebula is able to stay in Knowhere in the role of leader for the care of abandoned children and animals. Rocket is expected to remain in the team.

The story revolves on the fierce raccoon Rocket (Bradley Cooper), who gets kidnapped by the super-powered and gold-skinned Adam Warlock (Will Poulter) as one of Chukwudi Iwuji’s test subjects has been taken by the mad scientist who wants to return. Rocket is saved by the Guardians However, now it’s a much more complex story.
James Gunn packs a lot in this series finale However, the rough Guardians are the key ingredient. Pratt is an absolute natural as Star-Lord, while Saldana is a good choice as Gamora 2.0 which is an alternate time version that doesn’t recall the events she had with her green-hued lover. Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel as well as Karen Gillan return to the film as Drax as well as Groot. Pom Klementieff and Karen Gillan also appear as Nebula (a previously infamous villain) and Mantis.

The High Evolutionary – played by Peacemaker star Chukwudi Iwuji – is an interesting villain, one who threatens the Guardians as he attempts to create Counter-Earth. The High Evolutionary is Rocket’s father and is the primary reason behind his current mental state.
Iwuji delivers a powerful performance in the role of High Evolutionary. His madness is depicted with a feeling of ominous gravitas. His bloody scream of pain that comes from his mouth illustrates how well he conveys his heartache.

James Gunn has given The High Evolutionary sufficient screen time to show us why this character is a powerful threat. This is an evil scientist who is bent on committing genocidal acts and has no regard for anyone but him.
Iwuji states that playing character like this, a disgusting, bizarre and complicated character demands a specific set of abilities. He is able to be comfortable with the character by listening classical music.
The plot becomes exciting because you see the High Evolutionary becomes so devoted to his mission. The High Evolutionary is not going to quit until he has what he’s looking for. This is an excellent choice by the director that gives the character a terrifyingly realistic feel.
